Johnson Jakande Tinubu park

 Johnson Jakande Tinubu park popularly known as JJT.


This is a recreational park located in the capital of Lagos state, Ikeja.


The park was officially opened to public on 13th December 2017 and was commission by the Ex Governor Akinwumi Ambode in honour of  the Ex Governors 

Brigadier Mobolaji Johnson (J) 

Alhaji Lateef Jakande (J)

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (T)


 Size

The park covers a total area of approximately  21,800 square meter.


It is being managed by the Lagos state park and Garden Agency (LASPARK)


Facts to note

 👉 The park requires no entrance fee except it's being rented out for events.


 👉It opens 10am and close by 6:30pm.


  👉There is no provision for car park in the park    


       ATTRACTIONS 

   * The park has a huge statue of Eyo masquerade which is a cultural identity of Lagos State .


   * It has a cage that houses some special species of bird.


   * A huge sculpture of the three ex  Governor's face is being mounted at the middle of the park with all the LGA in Lagos written on the body of the statue 


   *Circling the sculpture is 54 flags of the nations in Africa with some informations about the country on each flag.


 👉Children playground with exciting facilities to keep the children busy.


👉There is a big chess game in a corner of the park


👉A free wifi facility but it wasn't  functioning  at the time of my visit 


👉A beautiful water Fountain.

    

👉Gazebo & lovenest which can serve as a perfect spot for families &individuals for workspace or unwinding.

            

What to do in the park

✓ Take good pictures


✓ Picnic with family & friends 


✓ Workspace {Study,Meditate,Read}: It can serve as a place to study, meditate or work as it's very peaceful & there are charging ports all around


✓ It can serve as celebration venue
