Nike Guest House,Oshogbo; 7 reasons why this is the perfect vacation on a budget for you.

 

I influenced hubby to go relax in Nike guest house, Oshogbo right after our wedding and it was everything serene & more.

 

So I thought to myself as usual it will be bad of me to hoard this beauty all to myself.

 Here are amazing facts about the guest house that I hope will convince you to pack your bags immediately and set out😉

1 .It was the residence of Nike Davies-Okundaye; A Nigerian textile designer & a popular art collector who owns Nike Art Gallery which is in Lagos, Oshogbo & Abuja. Everything in the house speaks art, even the duvet & bed sheet is not left out.

2. Some of the rooms have open toilet & bathroom i.e your bed no jis facing the water closet and your bathroom is a glass slide away from the bed😮. This would be a first a for me and I'm kind of thrilled.

3.Breakfast is served in a buffet style inside the garden and it cost #1500 per person.

Dinner is also served in a buffet settings but not in the garden and it cost #2500.

4. Lovers of  serenity, art and tranquility would easily fall in love with  this home, especially lagosians(One of the busiest city in Nigeria)🚶🚶🚶

5 .Some of the rooms have twin beds while some others, single bed but regardless of your choice, it cost  5000 per night . Budget friendly right? I thought so too.

6.Their staff are overly courteous and friendly.

7. There are queer animals in the garden such as tortoise (female & male) & Geese(male & female), watch out for the geese because they don't take well to strangers.

 If you get lucky, you might be the only one in the whole compound save for the staff and you will barely notice them. 

We were the only one in the compound and we sure love it💃💃

How to get there:

Nike Guest House is located in Old Ede road, Ofatedo area.

From any popular bus stop in Oshogbo be it Old garage or Oke Fia, take a bike or the city's small blue bus (bike is the best shot though) going to Nike guest house, the bike man will probably ask which one because the gallery is different from the guest house , you'll tell them the one in Ofatedo junction. If you're driving, simply punch it in to google maps, it'll take you there directly.
