Lufasi Nature park, although I feel it's not well known maybe it's just me.
Lufasi Nature park is a nature reserve built to preserve wild life from extinction as a result of Lekki peninsula development.
LUFASI is the Acronym for Lekki Urban Forestry and Animal Shelter Initiative. The park started in 2013 as a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) with the sole responsibility of preserving nature and protecting wildlife and endangered species
It is a combination of a conservation centre, recreational centre and animal shelter.
LUFASI park has become one of the popular tourist attractions in Lekki and Lagos in general .
So, lufasi has been on my bucket list for so long and finally I get to explore it sometimes last week, of course not alone , you know I don't travel alone. My partner this time was Wemimo, a fellow travel enthusiast & trip planner.
First disclaimer
Just so you know, Lufasi nature park is located in Ajah and it's quite far, I use to have it in mind that it wasn't far from LCC since they are on the same axis but i was in a for a surprise.
How to Locate Lufasi Nature park.
The park is actually easy to locate and also google map & lara.ng to the rescue should you get confused at any point.
Lufasi nature park Lagos is located at Majek 1st gate bus stop beside Fara park estate.
If you’re coming from the mainland like I did, simply board a bus to ajah. I took a brt bus from.Oshodi to ajah for 500 and it was quite comfortable. From ajah, take a bus usually a small bus going to awoyaya and stop at Majek 1st gate bus stop. The nature park is just by the road side on your right.
